A strong cold front will push through central Kentucky and southern Indiana Saturday afternoon. Gusty winds are likely all day, with the strongest winds occurring during the afternoon and evening hours. Wind gusts of 40-45 mph are expected. Confidence in strong winds is high.

In addition, intermittent rain showers are expected through the day, mainly north of the Ohio River during the morning hours. A line of showers and scattered thunderstorms is expected to push through Saturday afternoon and evening. There is a marginal risk for damaging winds associated with thunderstorms. Confidence in severe weather is low. Again, wind gusts up to 45 mph are likely outside of thunderstorm activity Saturday afternoon and evening.
