Storm Damage Update at 4pm, Monday, July 23

Storm Damage Update at 4pm, Monday, July 23
John Bobel
July 23, 2018

Power restoration in Lexington continues with local crews and out-of-state workers.  As of 4:00pm, 556 KU customers are without power.

God’s Pantry will provide food to persons in need at three remote distribution centers in Lexington.

The shelter at the Lexington Senior Center for those persons with non-emergency medical needs has closed.  The Senior Center is open for regular programming until 5pm.

Special debris removal plans are in effect for this week. Please follow recommendations for what you place in the gray outdoor waste containers. Bundle limbs and put them in front of your property, but not in the street. More about the debris removal plan.

This will be the last storm update.  Please check BeReadyLexington.com for specific storm-related information.
