Snow expected Thursday afternoon to evening – Winter Weather Advisory in effect

Snow expected Thursday afternoon to evening – Winter Weather Advisory in effect
John Bobel
November 15, 2018

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EST THIS EVENING…

Snow accumulations of up to one inch, mainly east of I-65 are possible. Light freezing drizzle may be possible on the back end of the snow showers and could create a glaze of ice on surfaces.

South central Kentucky will be affected by the snowfall.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening rush hour commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

Here’s the forecast for the rest of the week and weekend.
