Severe Weather Possibilities for Today – Wed. June 22 & Thurs. June 23

june22_severeScattered storms expected today, with some locally heavy rain and possibly gusty winds. All storms produce dangerous lightning.
Widely scattered storms will again be possible tonight, especially from southern Indiana to the northern blue grass. Once again locally heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning will be the main threats.
A cold front will bring scattered storms to the region Thursday afternoon and evening. Some storms may be severe with strong gusty winds and large hail, especially in the blue grass region of central Kentucky.
