Old Frankfort Pike Will Close for Fire Dept. Exercise on Tuesday, April 23

Old Frankfort Pike between New Circle Road and Fox Industrial Road will be CLOSED from 1 pm to 3 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.  The Lexington Fire Department and the staff of the Marathon/Valero Fuel Terminal will be conducting an emergency drill that will simulate a fire at the terminal.

Traffic on Old Frankfort Pike from Forbes Road to Fox Industrial Road will be limited to local traffic only.  There will be NO ACCESS to New Circle Road until 3 pm.

Several units from the Lexington Fire Department and Lexington Police will participate in this exercise.

Lexington Police will direct traffic around the exercise site.  Normal traffic flow should resume for the afternoon commute.
