Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Lexington

Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Lexington
John Bobel
March 2, 2019

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Lexington through 1 am Monday.

A mix of rain and snow will fall throughout the day on Sunday with the mix changing over to plain snow by Sunday evening. Total snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will be possible.

Plan on slippery road conditions mainly Sunday evening and early Monday morning.

Low temperatures Sunday night will fall into the mid teens. Low temperatures Monday night into Tuesday morning will fall into the single digits.  Here’s the detailed forecast.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
