July 4th fireworks_Commonwealth_blogThe University of Kentucky Arboretum will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic at 8:00pm on Monday, July 4.

Alumni Drive between University Drive and Tates Creek Road will be closed from 9:30pm – 11:00pm. College Way will be closed from 9:30pm – 11:00pm.

Parking and viewing areas will be available around Commonwealth Stadium. A viewing only area will be provided so don’t forget your blanket and chairs!

Please note, there will not be any concessions vendors available at the event, and tailgating will not be permitted.
