COVID-19

Lexington COVID-19 Cases Continue to Increase

Lexington COVID-19 Cases Continue to Increase
John Bobel
November 10, 2020

Monday, November 9 marked Lexington’s second-highest day of COVID-19 cases, with 183 reported. That makes 1,096 cases in the last week, and 12,651 cases and 102 deaths total since the outbreak began in March.

Four of the city’s highest single-day case counts have been since Nov. 4:

• 236 cases, Nov. 7
• 183 cases, Nov. 9
• 181 cases, Nov. 5
• 167 cases, Sept. 11
• 155 cases, Oct. 30
• 152 cases, Nov. 4

COVID-19 is spreading rapidly throughout all of Lexington, and we need your help to slow its spread:

• Wear a cloth face-covering in public (and wear it properly!)
• Avoid close contact with others
• Wash your hands often
• Stay home if you are sick.
