Flood Warning Extended for Fayette County Near the Kentucky River

The Flood Warning continues for the Kentucky River at Ford Lock until Friday afternoon.
At 8 am EST Thursday the stage was 35.3 feet. Flood stage is 26.0 feet. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
Forecast…The river is crested 38.05 feet on Wednesday. River levels have fallen to 35.3 feet and will continue to fall below flood stage by Saturday morning.

DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS – TURN AROUND – DON’T DROWN
