Winter Weather Advisory in Effect Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 pm on Friday, February 15 to 7 am on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Minor snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches along and north of the Western Kentucky and Bluegrass Parkways. Minor ice accumulations less than a tenth of an inch south of I-64.

Snow begins Friday evening. Best time for accumulating snow late evening. The changeover to freezing drizzle will take place after midnight.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute west of
Interstate 65.

The Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
