The severe thunderstorm watch has been cancelled.


A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Lexington until 9pm. Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening could produce locally damaging winds and brief torrential downpours. The best chance for storms, and the strongest storms will be across southern Indiana and into north-central Kentucky. Stay weather aware this afternoon and evening. https://www.weather.gov/lmk/
