Lexington Power Repair Update – 5pm, Sunday, July 22
John Bobel
July 22, 2018

KU crews and other other out of state crews continue to work to restore power to customers in Lexington.

As of 5pm, 10,500 customers remain without power.  More than 12,000 customers had power restored on Sunday.

Crews will continue working through Sunday evening and through Monday and Tuesday.

Please check the KU Outage website at http://stormcenter.lge-ku.com/default.html

If power around you has been restored and your power is still not working, please report the outage to KU using the website or by calling 1-800-981-0600.  Some areas with severe and extensive damage may not be restored until Tuesday evening.

If you have a medical emergency due to the power outage, please call 9-1-1.

God’s Pantry is opening three food distribution centers on Monday for people needing to restock their shelves due to the power outage.
