Golden Alert – Missing 75 year old Lexington Woman

Jo AlbertsonUPDATE: tHE MISSING WOMAN HAS BEEN LOCATED AND IS SAFE.

The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Lexington woman.

Around 11:30 this morning, Wednesday June 1, officers responded to a home on Brookview Drive in reference to a missing adult. Jo Albertson, 75, was last seen at Good Samaritan Hospital Monday afternoon.

Ms. Albertson, who has dementia and limited mobility, left the hospital prior to being admitted and has not been since. She is a white female, 5 foot 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with white hair. Ms. Albertson sometimes wears glasses.

She is from Lexington, but family members recently moved Ms. Albertson to Jackson County to help care for her. Ms. Albertson has been known to frequent the Lansdowne and Reynolds Road area of Lexington.
